On the initiative of the active members of Akhalsopheli Youth Center, the projects "Illuminated New Year for Akhalsopheli" and "Light up your neighborhood" were implemented.

The purpose was to illuminate the center of the village for the New Year. Organized by the members of the youth center, the villagers put up a Christmas tree for the first time and decorated the environment. 

The supporters of the project were the "King Davit Agmashenebeli Charity Foundation", the Kvareli Municipality City Hall and the local population.
