On the occasion of Earth Day, on April 22, members of the Akhmeta Youth Center visited the protected area of Batsara-Babaneuli. 

-Giorgi Abramishvili, the senior ranger of Atsara-Babneuli, shared information about the protected area and the flora and fauna of the center with the members of the center. Also introduced in detail the profession of ranger, their duties and main directions of activity. 

Giorgi Abramishvili was named among the 10 best rangers by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and the World Commission on Protected Areas. Members of the Khakheti Youth Center congratulated Giorgi Abramishvili on this honorary title and handed him a symbolic gift.
