International Book Day - April 23, at the initiative of Youth Centers Association and Akhmeta Youth Center, an open library was opened in Akhmeta.

A small bookstore is located in the center of the city, in Bidzina Cholokashvili Square, and the literature in it is available to anyone.

The opening of the open library was preceded by the presentation of the project at the Akhmeta Innovation Center. The event was attended by teachers, employees of Akhmeta Municipality, Cultural Center and Library Association, as well as members of the Association of Youth Centers from Akhmeta and Kvareli. The concept of an open library deserved the approval of the attending public.
