In 2016, the Akhalsopeli Youth Center was established in the village of Akhalsopeli, located in the ethnically diverse Kvareli Municipality. The center provides young people not only from Akhalsopeli but also from other villages of the municipality with the opportunity to work together, collaborate, and develop their skills.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Our project <\/b>The Youth Center\u2019s sewing workshop is located in the village of Akhalsopeli. Accordingly, young people living here have the opportunity, based on their interests and wishes, to gather in the center\u2019s space, exchange ideas, work together, and support their own self-developme<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Supporting women at the village level will increase the motivation of local residents, help shape individuals oriented toward change, and strengthen their economic and social engagement. Our goal is to create a fully functional social initiative \u2014 \u201cNeighborhood Atelier.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

With the involvement of the community, we will help three villages \u2014 Tivi, Saruso, and Akhalsopeli. This project will be especially important for the socially vulnerable communities living in Tivi and Saruso. The center always strives to ensure that no one is left without attention. Here, Ossetian, Avar, and Georgian young people are involved together in various projects, camps, and clubs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Our goal within this project is to create a safe and inclusive workshop for communication, dialogue, and cooperation. We believe that education should be accessible to everyone, equal, and closely connected with the local community.\nOne of the proudest achievements of the center is that it has opened doors to the future for hundreds of young people. We intend to continue this path \u2014 caring for the village, the community, the environment, and the people.<\/p>\n
