In Telavi, in Lopota Spa Resort, the regional forum "Civil Society for the Development of Volunteerism" was held, where the leaders and active members of Akhalsopheli Youth Center were invited.

An exhibition depicting the activities of non-governmental/community organizations operating in the Kakheti region was presented at the forum.

The purpose of the forum is: active involvement of the youth of the Kakheti region in solving the needs of the local community, popularization of the culture of volunteering, promotion of communication between organizations receiving volunteers and persons interested in volunteering, promotion of the role and activities of youth councils.

The mentioned forum was implemented within the framework of the "Civil Society Initiative" project supported by the European Union, organized by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and the Kakheti Regional Hub.
